I had a similar problem. I have dual SUs. One of the lines feeding one of the
floats was partially blocked. I found it by wrapping the engine up to where
the problems were and then spraying a little starter fluid into the carb. If
there isn't enough f
uel, then the engine will run correctly while it has the ether. If it is not
fuel related, the problem will not be affected by the spray...
