Actually, lubrication of the gearbox during towing should be improved with
the nose up attitude, as more oil would flow toward the rear of the gearbox
where it gets better splash from the reverse gear ring on the output shaft
(which is also first gear on the 3-symchro boxes).  In addition to that
splash there is also some pumping action to lube the bronze bearings on the
mainshaft, but that also depends on splash first to get to the screw pump.
If nothing else be sure the oil level is up to the full mark before towing.
