This color is probably too old for your car, but I researched it for my '56
TR-3. We found an original paint chip in an old supply house. The formula
is for R-M Diamond Basecoat paint. There is a lot of paint on the label,
but I can read system 88???? It is intended to be used with DC88 Diamond
Clear. Here is the formula for a gallon:
BR50 311.2
500 1694.5
605 2611.3
200 3187.0
405 3406.1
610 3524.1

The color is a gorgeous dark BRG. Don't know if it is the same as GN.29.
Good luck
Pete
'56 TR-3
'66 MGB
(What a combination)

I've been purchasing samples at my local automotive paint shop to get a
real feel for how the colors will look. My problem is that the local guy
cannot supply me with the correct paint sample because all they show 'in the
computer' is the lacquer mixtures and we can get lacquer here no 'mo.

So, I've got "Original MGB" with the codes in the back and they seem to be
of no help to him. Has anyone else out there had any problems finding Dark
British Racing Green (GN.29)? If you have it with any other paint codes
that might be useful, would you please send them to me? My car is ready to
paint next week and I need to get this wrapped up.

Doug
