Bent rod...

While replacing the head on my B I discovered that the first rod (from
the front of the car) is wobbly when it rolls on my bench.  Do I need
to replace the tappet as well as the rod?  I installed new rods and
tappets last year when I replaced the CAM.  The other 7 rods seem fine,
I have not examined the tappets.  Do I need to replace all of the rods
or is the one that is bent enough?

What causes a rod to bend?
