You'll need a 1-5/16" socket.  If you buy one that fits the
rear axle too (needs to be a very thin wall) you'll save
yourself some grief and money.  A 1-5/16" socket is a "must"
for an MGB, it fits several nuts/bolts on the car.  The SK
1/2" square drive, stock #40142 will work on the rear axle
and also fit all the other locations.
