Frank,

I don't know what you mean by overflow tubes.  There are connections to the
carbon canister for gas fumes from the gas tank and to take care of venting
oil fumes from the block with the incoming air but not overflow tubes.  If
the float needles don't stop the gas from overflowing, the extra gas goes
into the intake manifold.  The oil fumes are carried by rubber tubes and the
gas fumes with steel tubes.  This is a low pressure system 3-4 lbs. pressure
from the fuel pump.
