Window seals

Took some time today to replace the window seal and the seal below the vent
window. Getting the old seals off and the new ones installed was quite
simple. Unfortunately, now when I roll the window down, the seal is pulled
down into the door. I fooled with the lower adjuster bolts for the glass
runners to move the glass around (i.e. closer to the seal), but nothing
seemed to help. Anyone know how to correct this? TIA>
