My '76 MGB failed the HC (hydrocarbon) portion of the WA emissions test.
It's equipped with the stock Z-S and I have the air pump removed, but the
rest of the emissions stuff is on. The pump still works, just not very
well. It blew a 647 with a 600 required to pass. This was at idle, passed
OK revved up.
Any suggestions on tweaks that might help me pass? Would the air pump such
as it is help the HC number?
