fouling plugs (was loading up)

In my continuing story of the plugs fouling at idle in My MGB I have
turned the engine lean by 5 flats now first three and then two. I do not
know where they were when I started I will admit. The idle is getting to
where I do not think I can drop it much lower. Still fouling plugs at
idle. Other Ideas? Can bad cam timing cause the same problem? Original
GB engine with HS4's (new throttle shafts)(vac advance reinstalled).
