Peter:

None of my MGAs (numerous ones over the years, from '57s to '62s) have
ever had this particular slave cylinder, but it is depicted in the 1500
Parts Manual. However, it was only fitted to the early ones prior to
chassis number 11768 (ie. the first 1667 '56s). Like you noted, the kits
will likely interchange.
