I'm looking for the article in the June/July 1998 issue of MG World on
converting rubber bumper to chrome bumper. I bought the April/May issue
thinking it had the complete article in it, but it only covered the front
bumper conversion. If anyone has it and could scan or copy the article for
me I'd really appreciate it. As a last resort I can go back to MG World and
see if they have a back copy, but I really don't need the whole magazine.
We are contemplating converting my son's 79 from rubber to chrome bumpers.
Before all the flames start, he wants a 79 because that was the year he was
born, but he likes the chrome bumpers better than the rubber bumpers. At
least he's interested and doing most of the work on fixing the car up (with
dad's help and money of course).
