The only problem with the "chain" shops is if you have some problem with a
"straight" install. My 6 had a broken manifold bolt, and they would not fix
that (though they would on an "amurrican" car.) It was up to me to remove
the manifold and repair it. Good thing, too, because I found that the head
pipe was split. In the end, for the $178 for just the muffler, I bought the
complete Falcon SS exhaust, encluding the head pipe and put it on myself.
The manifold did not give me problems, a little Kroil and a vise-grips got
the broken stud out. I bead blasted and repainted the manifold and slung it
back on.
