Hi list, what a day for me. Got up early 7.00PM drove to the city to pick
up Mr Mario my friend mechanic. Drove back home and checked all system.Had
to regulate fuel pump, rebuild starter and put in a new battery. OK, lets
add oil the filter, hose. Crank her up! 40 psi. Were ready! add fuel and
lets get her running. Rrrrr-rrrrr-rrrrr-vroom!!!!!. She up and running,
tach doesn't work so pull out my digital timing gun and rev the car for
about 45min at 1700 RPM. Some smoke at first but not bad at all. She warms
up and the fans kick in Yeah! Runs smooth sounds great. OK, tighten head
and do the valves. End of break in let have lunch!
Life is good! thanks to all that helped with all my question. I will let
you know about the maiden voyage. Enrique.
