I think about 300 pounds is a reasonable guess, its probably a little bit
lighter if some of the ancilliary stuff is taken off.

Here's an idea for shipping:

I just received a decorative milk can (the sort from the farm, about 28
inches tall, maybe 14 inches in diameter) from someone on eBay.  The seller
charged me a shipping AND HANDLING fee, but when it arrived, I found that
all he had done was to stick an address label on the side, and to affix the
postage to the label.  Although I was irked, the item did arrive undamaged.
Ship at your own risk of course, but perhaps you could purchase insurance!
And hey... it beats placing the drivetrain in a wheelchair and pretending
that its Allen Hefner's grandmother.
