Folks,
Here's a dynamite tip I'd heard while at the Indianapolis show in 96.
Been looking to see if it was true and had the opportunity to confirm at
the Moss show yesterday.
Picked up a later(I have a 67 BGT I'm planning to A/C) air intake unit,
the two part vertical plastic dash unit. The unit is made up of two
vents that snap into the outside plastic surround. If you carefully pry
the tabs that hold each unit together, you pop out the two LH/RH air
controllers that allow you to divert air up and down and left and right.
A wheel allows you to shut off the flow.
Here's the good part.
Take both units to the radio cut-out on your MGA dash or early B dash
and snap them in side-by-side. Perfect fit!!
Not sure whether it's Moss Part Nos. 473-300 and 473-310 or the later
473-330 and 473-340, or if they are actually the same thing.
