Congratulations Bert,

Where is the event, then we (Two EMC MG B (GT) owners) will come and shake
hands with you and the lucky bride.

Unfortunately I cannot help, because we're at Frankfurt till friday noon.

Cheers,

Hans

Hi fellow listers,

My 1970 B is to be used in a wedding event coming Friday 15th.
(Actually, it's my own wedding...).

We want to tie some white/yellow ribbons (either 60 mm or 15 mm wide,
that's about 2 in. and .5 in.) around it, along with
a few knots to give the car (now polished and shining to the highest
posssible
degree) a more festive look...

Any suggestions about how to fix the ribbons in a safe and reliable way?

The car is to be driven that day for about 2 hours at a max. speed of about
50 mph/80 kmh (scenic roads) and we don't want to lose the ribbons or knots
while driving...

Any suggestions? Anyone BTDT?

Thanks in advance

Bert
