I paid $650 for mine, and that has been what I've seen in the
classifieds on the big MG site.  That is fair for clean one in good
working order. 

Note: These early boxes come with either large (five main) input shafts
or small (three main) shafts.  You need to have a pilot bushing
fabricated to install the small shaft unit into a five main engine (this
is what I did).  You have a large shaft crash box and if a three main
engine owner wants it make sure he knows he would have to convert to a
five main engine or drill out his crank, if, indeed that can be done
without weakening it.  A good machinist should be able to tell, or has
anyone done this?
