Many years ago, we mixed the bean-based Castrol with gas for two-stroke racing motorbikes. It definitely burned then and its distinctive aroma permeated everything around the race meets. As I recall, we seemed to have a lot fouled spark plugs when running the stuff. I remember starting cold engines with a hotter spark plug and then changing to a colder plug once the thing was warmed up and breathing properly. David F. Darby http://www.mgb.bc.ca/mgz |
