The piston and dashpot are a matched pair, so you should send him both parts
to avoid any possible problems.

Probably one of my dumbet questions but here goes anyway. I am sorting
thru my old SU parts box to find a good dashpot for David Councill from
the list. He indicated it is for a 1967 MGBGT AUD278 HS4 carb. Wouldn't
all 11/2 inch SU dashpots for the MGB be the same?
