Hey list, I got a question that I cannot answer entirely from a fellow
who saw my parts page. My best shot at it is below, as well as the
question. (Please reply to him as well as the list.)

I do have a weber. The install was SUPER EASY. I picked mine up off
of my BRG parts car. It is in need of an accelerator pump. When I
floor the car (MG owners never do that right?) it sputters and then
goes. The weber conversion should take you an afternoon is all. With
the '78 I think you will also need a new exhaust manifold, but I am not
sure. From the other owners with the Zenith, they are EXTREAMLY happy
with converting to SUs or a Weber, they often mention a large power
increase.

I can tell you who would know however. There is an MG list with LOTS
of knowledgable members. Some run their own garages, others are just
owners like you and I. Every now and then they rant about SUVs or
something like that, but for the most part it stays on MGs or other
little british cars (LBC)

I am going to CC this message to the list and hopefully you will get a
reply more informed than mine and join us! To join the list (free) go
to: http://www.team.net/tn-mail.html and follow the instructions, I
sent this to the mgs list.
