The united states is the only country in the world that values liability
above responsibility. We are the home of the McDonalds Coffee Burn
lawsuits. The Sue The Rock Star Because Our Disturbed Son Died lawsuit.

For a number of years there have been no Small Single Engine Aircraft made
in the US because product liability lawsuits made them cost innefective.

Our Food and Drug Administration keeps drugs like Piracetam, a wonderful
compound shown to have significant positive effect in treatment of
Alzheimers, Downs Syndrome and ADD, which is sold over the counter like
chewing gum in most every other civilized country (Like, say,
England) because it has NO KNOWN TOXICITY LEVEL, completely banned in the
US.

It's true that locks on Vipers delay someone from opening the door at
speed. If there's a dumb law on the US books, rest assured it's probably
there to protect the citizenry from itself.
