Last time I tried to have this done we found virtually all of the spoke
nipples were rusted in place, and adjustment was impossible.  If only a
few spokes are loose you might get away with replacing them, but most
shops won't do a partial rebuild for liability reasons, so you are on
your own.

If your wheels are chrome you may be able to true them, but painted
wheels are probably toast.  I'm on my second set with the '65. I ran
mine until I had at least six loose spokes (tap with a box wrench and
listen for the dull tone), probably too long, but these things are
expensive.  I'm running the set from the '68 now, they are still good.
