Maybe. If so, I'll shop around some more. You can save a fortune by moving
insurance companies each year, until the NCB builds up enough to make it
cheap.

All the insurance premiums I have paid with this introductory discount have
been cheap again the next year. I'm not sure how it works.

They will beg me, not the other way around! I am the customer, they want my
business. If I don't like them there are hundreds of other insurers to try.
Things are a little more difficult with my mini as 1) it's heavily modified
(this cuts out 90% of insurers) and 2) it has a full roll cage (this cuts
out 90% of the specialists). I have now found an insurer (Graham Sykes, in
Plymouth UK) who are cheap [for the mini anyway!] and allow these mods. They
also have quite a good reputaion amongst the mini owning fraternity.

Are many of you UK owners insurered through the MGOC?
