I just installed a new gas tank and it's leaking from the black ring that surrounds the sending unit hole. Looks like a bad weld (if thats how they attach it to the tank). If I can't get a new tank from the vender, does anyone have any suggestions on how to shore this up. I'm emptying the tank. What do I put in it to neutralize the gas, so it can be shipped or worked on? TIA Jim /// /// mgs@autox.team.net mailing list /// (If they are dupes, this trailer may also catch them.) |
