Wish me luck everyone (no, you don't have to bomb the list... I will
take it as written :-)
In the morning (well in about six hours from now) I will be heading off
for practice/qualifying then tomorrow for the SuperSprints of the Sprite
Challenge (Austin Healey Sprite National Meeting).
I promise I won't get on the wrong side of everyone up there by boasting
about MGs as I will be outnumbered by 100 to 1 (hmm, there might be
another 1 or 2 B's up there, and a few Midgets, of course). It would
also be rude as I am an invited guest.
BUT... I *will* try to be as competitive as possible out on the track -
where ALL is fair.
Pity that today I started hearing the creeeeaaak which tells me that
something rubber (and hopefully not nolathene) is not protecting some
metal-on-metal contact. Oh well... no time to fix it so I hope that my
helmet blocks out the strange noises.
Of course this meeting means that someone else gets to drive my car...
and I get my very first drive in a bugeye (or frogeye, for those easily
offended).
