Wonderful evening here in Washington state. I just got back from a trip for
ice cream with my daughter. Of course we took the 66 B.

The ignition light has been glowing when I drive. This started in the
spring -- I left it sitting in the garage all winter. I suspected that the
generator needed some "polarity" attention, but hadn't got around to
figuring out what to do.

On this, it's first longer drive of the year, for the first 5 miles the
light glowed like it has been. For the rest of the trip the light went out
when the engine dropped to idle speed, and when I turned on the headlights.
Otherwise, when accelerating, etc. the ignition light was on.

I'm no electrician, but this confuses me. Does anybody have any "light" to
shed on this for me? Any ideas what's going on?

Thanks a million,

Tony Woodruff
