Anyone is going down to the Monterey Historic Races this weekend?
Should be a good show. Yeh, it's more a beauty contest than a racing
event, but just the sight and sound of vintage cars in motion is
worth it. Add to that the chance to wander the paddock and chat with
owners and mechanics...
Bentley is the featured marque this year (BBC rather than LBC, but
related.) Last Sunday I spotted a caravan of FIVE (W.O.) Bentleys,
including one Blower, making a pitstop at the Quickiemart in Half
Moon Bay, south of San Francisco.
Some year it would be great to get enough MGs together to get a spot
in the Corral area.
