Rear Shock oil

Ok, Ok, I know that this has been beaten to death many times but I never 
paid attention and always hit the delete button. Well now I need to know 
what fluid to put in the original rear shocks. I am hoping there is an easy 
to find local option other than ordering the Moss fluid. I am going on a 
trip and would like to take care of this.
