Old Smoky, my 1980 MGB is alive and running. In fact I drove it to work for
the first time today, without all the smoke of my first experience with it.
I have a question about timing. The manual says timing should be set 10
BTDC @ 1500 RPM. Mine is right on, but it feels like the timing isn't
correct, hesitation, little power, etc. The engine has been desmogged, is
10 degrees still correct?
Is anyone on the list going to make it to Rendezvous 2001 in Tallahassee
this coming weekend? If so please find me and say Hi. I know I'll be
working registration some this Friday. I'm going to have my Carmine Red
1980 MGB, as long as it makes the trip.
