Fuel Miser magnet redux

A long time ago, a list member made an inquiry about a magnetic fuel line
gizmo called the Fuel Miser.  Apparently, the FTC made some inquiries too.

I hope nobody bought any of these things.  I seem to remember J. C. Whitney
advertising something like it in their catalog.
