The easiest way is to measure the pilot diameter where it attaches to the 
crankshaft.  The MGA and 3-main MGB flywheels have a 6-bolt mounting with 
3-7/8 inch diameter pilot diameter to fit the rear flange on the 3-main 
crankshaft.  The MGB 5-main flywheel has a significantly smaller pilot 
diameter, for which I don't know the size, because I've never owned one.
