I had trouble starting this morning and think it would be smart to have a
spare starter around now that I'm going to be driving my B more often.
I have two early ('62 - '67) starters. Can't vouch for one, but the other
worked fine up to the time I switched from a 3-synchro trans to the
4-synchro I now have. This switch meant I had to use the late model
starter. So, I installed the one from the '69 parts car.
I will swap one of the early starters (the working one) for a late model MGB
starter in good working condition. Anyone interested?
