Dry, boring post deleted.

Insert offbeat humerous comments.

Luckily there are enough penny-counting professionals in the industry to
keep us enthusiasts from going out of business most of the time.

It feels a little tricky speaking up for the competition, but it seems that
the Roadster Factory is financially a bit rocky right now. Although one
part of me is saying "he is competition, he must die" another part is
considerate of an enthusiast supporting the British Parts Business in his
own unique way.

I've worked for a company that was frantically trying to keep the baying
bankers from padlocking the gates, and was ordered to refuse credit for any
returns. The logic being that it was pay the customer or pay the bank. The
customer although a wonderful creature does not have the immediate
retribution power of the financier's legal minions.

It seems likely that any offer of credit for returns was done in good faith
and with an understanding of actual costs versus customer satisfaction with
an underlying interest in keeping the company afloat through a difficult
period.

I respect that.

Kelvin Dodd.
