1 5/16" AF it is.  A number of people have said they are too big to fit
inside the hub and have to grind them down or get specials.  Mine came off
the shelf and is 1.73" outside diameter and fits easily, it is a 1/2"
non-impact drive.  Maybe others have been buying 3/4" drive and/or impact
sockets.
