Patton,
Pounds all got replaced by Euros a few months ago, its unlikely any Bank
(even a UK bank) could now help you. Your best bet is a coin collectors
shop (numismatists, I think they are called) who would deal in collectables
like that.

What's the best way to get Pound notes in the US? I am pretty sure if I go
to my local small town Texas bank they will look at me funny. I figure I
