Got there on Friday at 9am - Rode out in my buddy's 2002 Mini Cooper -
didn't find much in the way of used parts - only picked up a few small
chrome pieces for the A. But walking around talking to old friends and
meeting new ones is half the fun of going to Carlise. Assisted David Deutsch
in changing his starter which failed on his way out. Made it to the MG
Council meeting (along with the other 6 people !) missed the autox.team.net
meeting though. Had dinner with some friends at the Town Tavern - a locals
Tavern - good food and cheap - afterwhich we walked around downtown a bit
and had latte at a coffee shop.
Friday was beautiful but Saturday was cold! We missed most of the rain as it
came down during the night Fri/sat but it was enough to make the sales field
muddy.
All in all it was a fun weekend.
