Hello listers,
If there are any BMW drivers out there, I would like your input on good
shocks and struts to buy. If so, please respond to my email
wkilleff@bellsouth.net
The car is a 93 325is with 125000 miles and the original shocks and struts
that are starting to go soft. I want to replace them with a good, better
than original product, but am having a hard time deciding what to use. The
message boards on unofficialbmw.com seem unable to come to any consensus,
and my local bimmer-driving friends are much the same way. What I want out
of the car is a fun driver that doesn't shake my teeth out if I'm on a bumpy
road. The car is lowered so that could cause my choices to be limited. I
also have to worry about my wife, who will drive the car often and really
isn't interested in performance driving. I don't intend to race the car, but
want to be able to enjoy the curvy roads that are so common around here.
For further info, please email off list. Thank you for your time, interest,
and patience.
