Have you considered wearing a full face with the visor open? this way
if there is a fire you can close the visor and protect your face a
little bit longer.
Another advantage of the visor is that you can run a strip of tape
across the top at just above eye level, when you are driving into the
setting sun, lowering the visor will give you a sun shade right whwer
you need it.

listen to. Oldies stations that play the "new" music I used to complain about.
