Scott,
I'll be checking mine soon too. I've got a 77B. My manual says .013 Hot,for
both intake and exhaust.

My Chilton manual numbers the valves 1-8 starting at the radiator and
suggests this:
Valve open, adjust this:
1 open, 8
2 open, 7
3 open, 6
4 open, 5
5 open, 4
6 open, 3
7 open, 2
8 open, 1

Keep'em crankin',
Dennis

I just changed the head on my 76B and need to adjust the valves. I've
seen the old "put the car in 4th gear and push it until the front rocker
arm lifts off the valve stem so you can check the gap"...but I don't
remember all the details. I would like to get her back on the road ASAP
so I can enjoy the great weather before it disappears. I just moved
recently and can't find my manuals yet. Also, can someone provide me
with the gap for the intake and exhaust valves?

TIA

Scott
