Anyone have experience renting a tow dolly from Uhaul? For some reason I
don't think they approve of using them with the small wheelbase of a MGB, am
I right? It comes up as an approved method on their web site but in the
past I thought I remember them refusing to let me use one. I'll be pulling
the B with my parts-hauling-full-size-pickup and though I would really like
to buy a car hauler, $1200 is out of my budget. Unless someone near the DC
metro area is in a charitable mood and would like to give me a good deal on
one. Anyone have any leads?
Would a 6x12 (3500lb rated) single axle utility trailer handle the job, they
are in the $900 range locally?
