Any experiences with home lifts?

Hi List: I am hoping Santa brings me a "basic" auto lift for working on the 
underside of my '74 B.
Do any of you have any experiences with these or own one? The ones for under 
$2000 is what I mean. We see them in Hemmings each month, but I have never 
seen one or talked with anyone who owns one.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
