Jim:

Regardless of the type of fuel, I would not recommend
anything ventless.  The biggest by product of combustion is
WATER and it will condense on anything cold.  If you set the
thermostat low when not using the heat, and turn it up later
everything will get condensation on it.  That includes all
of those shiney polished tools.  The "sweating" is somewhat
dependent on the dew point.

Besides the "sweating" there is the safety of carbon
monoxide poisoning.  It doesn't take more than a few hours
for it to happen.
