I've been sending updates of my recent upgrades to my BGT:

Here are some pixtures my using some of that power:

I drove her to work today. Somewhere in the installation, my
mechanical temperature guage got broken. The temperature guage is
barely moving, if it does at all. I hope that I'll be able to get her
onto a dyno this week. In the meantime, on my way to work this
morning, I got a little bit of clear road, put my foot in it, and in
5th gear (I've got the five speed) which is the same ratio as
4th-over, she was still accelerating strongly at 5000 rpm. The shop
manual says (if the tach is correct) that works out to about 110, and
she was still polling like she was only doing 80.

I'm still ironing out little gotchas, but so far, I'm very happy with
the improvement in pickup.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find boost/vacuum guages
on the San francisco peninsula (redwood city)?

I'm also looking for a BCG needle to richen out the HIF 6.

I've found something worse than oldies station that play the music I used to
listen to. Oldies stations that play the "new" music I used to complain about.
