My '67B suddenly dropped oil from under the Carbs and on to the exhaust pipe,
a new patch on the garage floor!
Must be a tappit cover leaking or loose, so regardless of damp & cold,
jacked it up for closer inspection.
Only then did I remember that last week I topped up SU dashpots, in near
darkness, probably overfilling them with 20-50, and at this time of year from
cold the surplus would just drool from the vent, in summer it sprays the
underside of the'hood'.
Panic over just a temporary drip!
