Just finished rebuilding a pair of HS2 carbs. The original one had a metal
float bowl adapter on one carb (#23 page80) and a rubber one on the other.
The replacement parts were both rubber. Is this normal?
BTW, I used the home made reamer (mentioned in MGB Driver last year; about
$20 including machining) to replace the bushes with standard size ones and
it worked like a charm; took about 10 minutes on each side.
