Those twist lock do-hickies are available new, I think.
I like them in the stock configuration just fine only because when my
battery looses connectivity at a toll booth I can grab a quarter from the
console ashtray, spin around and have the battery cover open, cable clamps
wiggled and engine restarted before a car has to wait behind me. OK, so it
only happened once and now I keep terminals bright and clean - it's still
nice to know you can just use a quarter if the situation calls for it. ;-)
