That would be the external seal as on the early MGA 1500. Starting at
teh begining with engine GB101, the gearbox rear seal was originally listed
as 11G3147. There is a new part number listed, 1H3339 commencing gearbox
A101. No mention of part number 11G3211.

I have seen a variety of gearboxes from early MGA, Z-Magnette, Nash
Metropolitan, Lotus Elite, and few other cars using similar gearboxes. For
the splined output shaft modles, I have seel only two possible rear
seals. The early unit with 1" 10-spline shaft uses the external seal. The
later unit with 1-1/16" 10-spline shaft uss the internal seal. I would bet
lunch that one of the MGA seals (Moss 121-000 for the external seal) will
work for your Magnette.
