Has anyone ever run into problems dealing with these guys? Or is it just
me? Quoted me $750 to rebuild a 3 syncro transmission. Was told that it
the price exceeded $750, they would call to consult me. Now they are
calling me and telling the work is finish, unit is ready to pick up and the
total is $1200. I am not to keen on this situation at all. Where was the
call for exceeding the original estimate? This seems like a lot of money,
especially when I can buy an OD box from Moss for not too much more. Any
advice would be helpful in how to deal with these guys. Also, this is the
first time I have sent work out for my MG, is this typical, because I have a
very bad taste in my mouth with British car repair specialist now.
