Well, after putting the old valve back on in hopes that just the gasket had
failed, it leaked from the rusty side. Stupid me, I had a brand new valve
sitting in a box the whole time. So I just did that. I did have to use a
3/8" hose instead of the 1/2", but that's another story (also making me look
stupid). I'm going to follow up on the alternate valve, and I will let you
guys know when I get somewhere.
