I'm a member of the mgs@ autox.team.net list and I don't own a TR. But I
just received a phone call from a gal who's got a 1976 GT-6 she wants to get
rid of. Trouble is, it's been in an accident & the front end is smashed up
pretty bad, probably needs to be replaced with all new sheet metal. The good
part
is the engine is good (she says it runs!) and is out of the car. She says she
doesn't know what the car's worth or how much to ask for it because of the
front end damage. But, she claims that everything south of the windscreen
(Interior, rear end & suspension, tires, rear glass, doors, windows, etc.) is
in
very good condition. She sounds like a nice lady who just wants someone to buy
the car and get it out of her yard. Make her an offer and haul it home. Not
drivable, so you'll need a dolly or trailer to move it. Call Joyce Studebaker
